Decarbonisation Solutions Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Decarbonisation Solutions Manager to join our Energy Transition Execution, Innovation & Partnerships organisation, which is shaping customer solutions for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Development and Project Delivery:
- Analyse customer supply chains to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in terms of decarbonisation.
- Identify customer-specific opportunities to reduce carbon impact through network optimisation, modal shifts, and energy transition.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit assessments to evaluate the viability and impact of potential decarbonisation projects.
- Design and manage tools and templates to support project delivery.
Project Planning, Management, and Governance:
- Develop comprehensive project goals, plans, and governance for each customer partnership project in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure project timelines and quality of deliverables are met throughout the project and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Identify and manage potential risks to project success.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process improvement and sharing best practices.
- Establish project governance frameworks and guidelines to ensure adherence to planned timelines, objectives, and quality standards.
- Own all internal communications during and post-project completion.
- Document project summaries, learnings, and organise feedback sessions post-project completion.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with Energy Transition, Commercial Sustainability, Area Product managers, customer account teams, and other internal stakeholders to gain support and alignment.
- Collaborate with customers and other external partners to achieve timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging practices in supply chain decarbonisation and share relevant insights with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics).
- Proven experience in project management with strong knowledge and understanding of logistics and supply chain.
- Exceptional organisational and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on results.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders at all levels, and effectively convey complex information.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically and strategically.
- Proficiency in tools and software for project management, analysis (e.g., Microsoft Excel), data visualisation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI), and network optimisation software.
- Comfortable with 30% international travel annually and flexible working hours.
