Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Director to lead our metal industry operations in Hobro, Denmark.

JLM Teknik is a Danish-owned company specializing in solutions for cranes, lifting equipment, and handling solutions for the Danish industry. We have been operating since 1997 and focus on creating a good working environment and ergonomics that benefit both employees and the company.

We offer a wide range of products, including aluminum cranes and lifting yokes, designed to make workflow, work, and everyday life easier for employees and companies. Our goal is to produce results that benefit society and the economy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management and production planning to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate daily with the technical department, sales, service, and warehouse departments.
  • Order goods from external suppliers.
  • Manage responsibility for production, ensuring uniform and satisfactory quality and compliance with requirements in relation to standards and the Machinery Directive.
  • Lead and distribute tasks among the production department's approximately 15 employees.
  • Optimize and develop the production department.
  • Engage in customer contact and follow-up on assembly tasks.
  • Perform various hands-on tasks.

Requirements:

  • Experience from the metal industry with a professional background or further education as a machinist or mechanical technician.
  • Preferably with project management or management training.
  • A natural interest in both management and mechanics.
  • A confident leader who remains calm in stressful situations.
  • Ability to motivate employees and handle conflicts constructively.
  • Management experience with a desire to make a difference and great knowledge of people.
  • Driving license and truck license.
  • PC knowledge.

Estimated Salary: Approximately DKK 80,000 - 120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
