Project and Production Manager for JLM Teknik in Hobro

We are looking for an outgoing, humorous, innovative, and independent figure who is ready for a job with both challenges and opportunities. We are looking for the Project Manager with good leadership qualities who puts thoroughness, structure, development, and commitment at the forefront, together with the department’s approx. 15 employees, to continue to create an attractive workplace where collaboration is the focus and the tasks remain varied. JLM Teknik is a medium-sized, financially healthy company with a flat organization and is among the most recognized suppliers within our area in Denmark.

About JLM Technology:
JLM Teknik is a Danish-owned and recognized company specializing in solutions within cranes, lifting equipment, and handling solutions for Danish industry. Since our founding in 1997, we have focused exclusively on this area and are convinced that a good working environment and ergonomics are important not only for the employees but also for the company.

With a factory in Hobro and a branch in Zealand, we offer a wide range of products, including aluminum cranes and lifting yokes, which have one purpose – to make the workflow, work, and everyday life easier for employees and companies. This produces results that benefit both society and the economy.

We offer comprehensive service and maintenance of our cranes and lifting solutions and are known for our high-quality standards and strong customer service, which ensures reliability and satisfaction of our customers.

Tasks:

  1. Project management and production planning to ensure deadlines are met.
  2. Daily collaboration with the technical department, as well as the sales, service, and warehouse departments.
  3. Ordering goods from external suppliers.
  4. Management responsibility for production.
  5. Ensure uniform and satisfactory quality and compliance with requirements in relation to standards and the Machinery Directive.
  6. Lead and distribute tasks among the production department’s approx. 15 employees.
  7. Optimization and development of the production department.
  8. Customer contact and possibly follow-up on assembly tasks.
  9. Various hands-on tasks.

Our Expectations of You:

  1. Experience from the metal industry with a professional background or further education as a machinist or mechanical technician.
  2. Preferably with project management or management training.
  3. A natural interest in both management and mechanics.
  4. A confident leader who remains calm in stressful situations.
  5. Ability to motivate employees and handle conflicts constructively.
  6. Management experience with a desire to make a difference and great knowledge of people.
  7. Driving license and truck license.
  8. PC knowledge.
