Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the academic research institutions, biotech/pharma companies, and laboratories in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.
  • Provide technical support, product demonstrations, trainings, and conduct seminars to labs, user groups, and local meetings.
  • Work closely with the Global Sales Operations team to provide direct sales support to customers.
  • Contribute to local business development related to product development, licensing, service/collaborative agreements, and other responsibilities as needed.
  • Represent BioLegend at user group meetings, scientific conferences, and local shows.
  • Maintain a contact database in customer retention management system (Salesforce).
  • Manage expenses through monthly reports.
  • Prepare quarterly reports on territory performance and notable business developments at key accounts.
  • Report any activity related to competitor activities or business opportunities as applicable.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in Life Sciences or a related specialty such as biotechnology, or MSc in biology or related specialty with 3+ years' experience in an academic, industry, or clinical lab setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in multi-parameter flow cytometry, cellular assays (in-vitro or primary cell), and molecular biology wet lab experience (Western, PCR, ELISA, ELISpot, etc.).
  • Experience in proteogenomics/NGS and research experience in Cell Biology, Immunology, or Cancer Biology is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English and minimum one Scandinavian language.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
