The University of Copenhagen invites applications for a postdoctoral research position to investigate novel states and dynamics in 1D and 2D arrays of semiconductor-superconductor Josephson junctions.

About the Project

This project combines nanofabrication, low-temperature measurements using a cryofree dilution refrigerator, low-noise and high-frequency electrical measurement techniques, data analysis, and close collaboration with theoretical physicists. The successful candidate will have a PhD in condensed matter experimental physics, mesoscopic electron transport, or experimental solid-state quantum information science.

Job Description

The postdoctoral researcher will be part of the Center for Quantum Devices at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen. The position is for a duration of two years, with the expected start date negotiable upon agreement. The salary will be according to the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State, negotiable based on qualifications.
