Logistics Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at Hobbii. As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all logistics operations, including managing structures and resources that deliver inbound and outbound transportation performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and improve transportation performance (inbound and outbound), ensuring the best logistics setup both short and long term.
  • Drive cooperation across departments and disciplines to contribute to a better performing supply chain.
  • Develop and coach our Logistics Coordinator.
  • Ensure transparency regarding Logistics (performance, cost, and daily operations) across Hobbii.
  • Drive projects related to transportation aligned with Hobbii's strategic priorities and improve Supply Chain performance.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Insight and experience from managing international freights, logistics, and supply chains.
  • Successful negotiation of contracts with forwarders and carriers.
  • Excellent business acumen.
  • Proven track record of delivering improvements in the supply chain area.
  • Data savvy with a flair for working with Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Fluency in Danish and English (written and spoken).

Location:

This position is based in our HQ in Dortheavej, Copenhagen, where we offer brekkie, yummy lunch, themed Friday bars, and damn good coffee. Occasionally, the job might entail spending some days in our Warehouse in Greve. It will also be possible to agree with your manager to work some days from home.
