The Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Programme is a pioneering initiative to create a cutting-edge quantum programme. Our goal is to drive research and innovations at multiple levels, from developing scalable quantum processor technologies to solutions for the quantum-classical control and readout interface.

We are seeking an experienced Postdoc in Spin Qubit Design & Control to join our team at NQCP. The team is led by Assist. Prof. Francesco Borsoi and focuses on achieving a quantum advantage to solve life science problems exploiting the unique properties of semiconductor quantum dots processors.

As a Postdoc, you will lead critical developments in quantum hardware and contribute to cutting-edge research and engineering. Your duties will include research within Spin Qubit Design & Control, with the possibility of performance of other duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Science or related fields.
  • Proven record of design, development and control of qubits in solid state.
  • Experience in the use of dc and high-frequency electronics such as DACs, AWGs, and MW signal generators.
  • Familiarity with dilution refrigerators.
  • Knowledge of data acquisition software and programming skills in Python.
  • Strong communication skills and intercultural sensitivity.
Collaboration and Teamwork

As a Postdoc in Spin Qubit Design & Control, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams specializing in nanofabrication, material characterization, quantum device simulation, and quantum algorithms. This will allow you to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment.
