The University of Copenhagen is part of the Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Programme, a pioneering initiative to create a cutting-edge quantum programme. Our goal is to drive research and innovations at multiple levels, from developing scalable quantum processor technologies to solutions for the quantum-classical control and readout interface.

We are seeking an experienced Postdoc in Spin Qubit Design & Control to join our team at NQCP. The team is led by Assist. Prof. Francesco Borsoi and focuses on achieving a quantum advantage to solve life science problems exploiting the unique properties of semiconductor quantum dots processors.

As a Postdoc, you will lead critical developments in quantum hardware and contribute to cutting-edge research and engineering. Your duties will include research within Spin Qubit Design & Control, with the possibility of performance of other duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Science or related fields.
  • Proven record of design, development and control of qubits in solid state.
  • Experience in the use of dc and high-frequency electronics such as DACs, AWGs, and MW signal generators.
  • Familiarity with dilution refrigerators.
  • Knowledge of data acquisition software and programming skills in Python.
  • Strong communication skills and intercultural sensitivity.
