We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team and contribute to our research efforts in marine volatile interactions. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will have the opportunity to work with an international team of scientists on exciting research projects related to marine volatile interactions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct field and experimental work
  • Cultivate bacteria and phytoplankton
  • Analyze data using molecular community analyses (bioinformatics), aquatic microbial ecology, and VOC measurements
  • Lead-write and co-author scientific publications

We are looking for ambitious and highly motivated candidates with a PhD in marine microbial ecology, or a related field. Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement, as well as excellent writing skills demonstrated by the publication record. A successful candidate has good analytical skills e.g. in molecular community analyses (bioinformatics), aquatic microbial ecology, and cultivation of bacteria and phytoplankton.
