Construction Manager

Due to our growth, we are looking for a skilled and driven Construction Manager to join our Development team at atNorth in Denmark. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering reliable and compliant construction management support, enabling smooth project execution and ensuring seamless handover to Operations. You will oversee projects from planning to completion, manage contractors on-site, and collaborate closely with design, security, and operations teams. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the success of large-scale, high-impact data center developments across the Nordics.

General

• Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations.

• Oversee projects from planning to completion with the support of the local project team.

• Coordinate with atNorth departments such as Design, Security, and Operations.

• Manage the General Contractor on a daily basis and escalate issues to the Project Manager as needed.

Time management

• Develop, maintain, and track project schedules in coordination with the project scheduler and stakeholders.

• Manage on-time delivery of projects in preparation for handover to Operations.

• Lead weekly progress meetings with the General Contractor.

• Oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of OFCI items.

• Monitor and report weekly site working hours in alignment with the General Contractor.

Safety, Quality & Commissioning (Cx) Management

• Ensure compliance with all local safety regulations.

• Monitor and track safety observations in coordination with the onsite safety manager.

• Ensure installations meet atNorth's quality standards.

• Oversee commissioning activities in alignment with atNorth's commissioning plan in coordination with the Commissioning Manager.

You are a structured, detail-oriented, and proactive professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to lead construction projects with clarity and confidence. You thrive in dynamic environments and can balance the need for speed, quality, and compliance while managing multiple stakeholders. You take pride in ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management (data center experience is a plus, but not required).

• Bachelor's or master's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or other relevant education.

• Broad multi-disciplined overview combined knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical & CSLA systems is an advantage but not required.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
