Project Manager, Global Store Design

As our new Project Manager, Store Design for EMEA, you will implement and coordinate retails projects, ensuring highest possible quality from start to finish
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to scale and roll out of Bang & Olufsen's store concepts within Europe
- Project stakeholder management for internal and external stakeholders through communication, transparency, alignment and risk analysis
- Ensure a hard-working and innovative, yet positive work environment with our designers by support and engage the design team to create excellent luxury store projects
- Set up realistic project schedules and ensure the project adheres to the deadlines
- Develop, oversee and communicate project budgets in detail, communicating spending reports to with key stakeholders
- Set up agreements with contractors, consultants and suppliers in collaboration with Procurement and Legal teams
- Oversee the day-to-day relationships with external contractors and subcontractors
- Set up and oversee production of fixture and furniture
- Ensure lessons are learned during and after projects are concluded
What You Bring
You are an experienced project manager within retail, architecture and construction experience with a tried and tested project manager toolbox .
- Appreciation for design and a general interest in decisions around CMF and architecture.
- Experience working with creative teams. You can track and clarify design processes and decisions and ensure the work from internal and external designers meets our standards and the brief.
- Experience working as a project manager within building and construction, with a good toolbox of communication, stakeholder management, schedule and planning and budget management.
- Proactiveness foreseeing and acting upon project risks
- Understanding of the commercial aspects and understanding of working in a retail organization.
- Experience delivering complex, global retail programs and have overseen retail fixture programs in a premium or luxury retail sector
- Extensive stakeholder management experience; coordinating cross-functional project teams in an international environment. You enjoy developing new ways of working to enhance existing teams' productivity.
- Comprehensive presentation and communication skills, online or in-person, efficiently conveying ideas to a diverse audience
- Extensive experience using project management and presentation tools such as Microsoft Projects, Excel, Keynote, PowerPoint, Teams etc.
- Basic experience with ArchiCAD or AutoCAD.
- Fluency in English is mandatory
What We Offer
The B&O Store Development team is a growing team responsible for developing and implementing Bang & Olufsen's physical presence in Retail stores, pop-ups and other touchpoints. The team is split into three departments : Visual merchandising, Store design and Project management. You will be part of the project managment with colleagues in multiple parts of the world.
The team is a diverse group of people, they are united in their love of rethinking retail, customer experience, and the exciting task of developing, scaling, rolling out and implementing global luxury retail concepts.
