Join us as our new Business Finance Senior Manager in Food & Beverage Biosolutions

As part of the business area 'Food and Beverage Biosolutions', you will be involved in extensive collaboration with various stakeholders across Novonesis on a wide range of financial and strategic topics and with high focus from leadership. You will be a key player in moving our commercial business organization forward and enabling Novonesis to fulfil its long-term financial ambition.

Business Finance, Food & Beverage Biosolutions is anchored in Business Finance.  Its core objective is to drive value creation within Novonesis by partnering with stakeholders through sound financial insights and analytics, strong change management and collaboration. By joining us, you will be part of an international Business Finance team comprised of highly skilled finance partners and have the opportunity to shape Novonesis' future.

In this role, you'll be responsible for

• Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage Marketing & Business Development teams, serving as a trusted advisor to the VP and the leadership team while actively contributing as an integral member of the leadership group.
• Business Reviews & Budgeting: Own the quarterly business review and annual budgeting processes, acting as a trusted financial partner to ensure accurate planning and analysis. Analyse business growth opportunities and ensure alignment with overall strategy.
• Strategy execution: Oversee the strategic financial plan for the categories Baking, Beverages and Food and drive resource allocation.
• Business Case Development: Lead the creation and presentation of compelling, data-driven business cases to support strategic initiatives and key decision-making processes.
• Pricing Strategy: Oversee pricing processes in collaboration with the commercial team, maintaining adherence to the planned pricing strategy and delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Macro Environment Analysis: Monitor and interpret macroeconomic trends, providing actionable insights in partnership with the marketing team through quarterly reporting and analysis.
• Execution and Communication: Ensure smooth execution of strategies by working closely with regional business partners and other functions fostering alignment with established processes and strategic objectives.
   

You will thrive in this role if you bring some of the following:

• A university degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, MBA, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Significant experience (8+ years recommended) in business finance or similar functions
• We value strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail and the ability to collaborate on resolving complex issues.
• The ability to adapt to and manage change, remain steady in dynamic environments, and contribute to the successful execution of initiatives.
• Values clear communication, builds meaningful relationships, and works collaboratively across diverse teams and organizational levels.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management abilities
• Strong process design capabilities and an interest in developing the Novonesis steering model
• An eagerness to work collaboratively, support team success, and take initiative in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace

Please be aware that this is a temporary position to cover maternity leave, with an expected duration of 12 months. As our organization is growing, there is a possibility that a permanent position could become available following the temporary contract, subject to organizational needs and individual performance
