We are now looking for an experienced Business Developer / Sales Engineer with a solid understanding of automation to help us expand our automation business and build strong, long-term client relationships.
About the role
As our new Business Developer / Sales Engineer, you will be part of a talented and collaborative team of automation specialists and software engineers. You will identify new business opportunities, connect with clients, and translate technical capabilities into tailored automation and control solutions.
Whether your background is in automation, electrical engineering, control systems, or commercial engineering (e.g. Export Engineer), what matters most is your ability to combine technical insight with a commercial mindset and a passion for automation and digital transformation.
You will:
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Identify business opportunities and translate client needs into technical proposals
- Collaborate closely with engineers to develop automation, software, and control system solutions
- Stay updated on trends such as Digital Twins, Industry 4.0, and smart manufacturing
- Represent DIS/CREADIS at client meetings, events, and exhibitions
Your profile
- Relevant technical or commercial engineering background – ideally with experience in automation or industrial control systems
- Proven interest in sales, business development, and client engagement
- Strong communication skills in English (Danish is a plus)
- Curious, proactive, and driven by results
- Passionate about automation, digitalization, and innovative engineering solutions
