The Position

As a Business Development Director, you will play a key role in setting the strategy and execution for obesity excellence to drive the non-branded narrative and therapeutic area development. You will develop projects and partnerships and manage the internal cross functional taskforce to work efficiently towards the external environment which includes both external providers and stakeholders as well as internal collaboration with IO, Global and Affiliates.

Furthermore, you will:

Evolve obesity business model to improve Patients with Obesity (PwO) journey and drive therapeutic area development to ensure improved health for PwO Develop innovative solutions and partnerships with key stakeholders in both Public and Private Health care or health organisations including e-health providers and Pharmacies Manage initiatives and projects (with an End2End approach) with the non-branded narrative, to support the ambition and customer satisfaction and treatment persistency Develop KPIs and follow progression cross functionally by engaging affiliates across NWE and drive the right patient and non-branded narrative Operate data analysis and insights generation to identify success of initiatives, future market trends to support a true customer-centric approach

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate, you hold a MSc degree in any business-related field and you have solid know-how of business development and competitive dynamics in a fast-changing environment, within pharmaceutical industry.

In addition, we expect you to have:

Entrepreneurial mind-set and approach with bold analytical and business acumen Excellent communication and management with confidence of various stakeholders and partners at different levels of seniority. A strong track record of success of commercial initiatives and partnerships with a positive can-do attitude Ability to work proactively, with a clear drive for delivery according to the plan and deadlines Deep understanding of different eHealth providers and Pharmacies

About the Department

Novo Nordisk NWE is a region in International Operations covering 14 countries and employing around 2000 people.
