SLB Capturi is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials. 

What will you be doing?

The Construction HSE Supervisor is accountable for providing a professional level of effective HSE support at all times.

This is achieved through direct input to issues with an HSE impact or effect, active participation in all HSE programs and activities, and through demonstrating an onsite presence as required and agreed upon with the Project HSE Manager for assurance, intervention, and coaching purposes.

This is a 1-year contractor role, starting from mid-November 2024 at our Construction Site near Copenhagen.

Your responsibilities  

  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures for construction projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide safety training and guidance to project teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop site-specific safety plans and ensure their implementation.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct safety audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and maintain compliance.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel on the construction sites.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in the renewables or environmental industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant construction safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and influence teams.
  • Proven track record of implementing safety programs and managing HSE risks in construction projects.
  • Certifications in Construction Safety, such as OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety, will be an advantage.
  • Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
