We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Advisor to join Norgine in Copenhagen.

The core responsibility of the of Medical Advisor is to engage in non-promotional medical / scientific / development activities and interactions with HCPs and other relevant stakeholders. It is will also include building and maintaining relationships and collaboration with HCPs and other relevant stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Establish and develop relationships with clinical investigators, HCPs and other relevant external stakeholders.
  • Provide scientific information to relevant clinical investigators, HCPs and other relevant stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Facilitate and maintain legitimate scientific exchange related to Norgine marketed and pipeline products with medical experts to advance understanding of new scientific principles, novel research trends and current scientific debate.
  • Assist in development of HCPs as speakers to help disseminate scientifically balanced, up-to-date evidence to the wider HCP community.
  • Contribute to KOL and other stakeholder identification, mapping and planning.
  • Keep updated on scientific knowledge and development within relevant therapeutic fields of interest to Norgine.
  • Obtain an understanding of prevailing medical or scientific thoughts and attitudes in relation to products, projects or therapeutic areas of interest to Norgine. 
  • Attend relevant scientific congresses and meetings to keep up-to-date of latest clinical and scientific developments within the therapeutic areas, and understand the dynamics of any scientific controversies.
  • Gather insights around clinical needs, disease needs and related topics from the clinical community.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of our voice of the patient activities and projects.
  • Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to bring the voice of the patient into the Norgine Nordic organisation and to bring knowledge and understanding of the patient situation to all employees.
  • Collate and process research proposals (IIS proposals) aligned with Norgine strategic objectives.
  • Review of promotional/ non-promotional material to ensure compliance with the applicable Nordic countries Codes of Practices.
  • Sign off promotional and other material in line with the Company certification procedure.
  • Serve as a resource for projects and collaborate with internal colleagues to achieve best possible outcomes.

Requirements

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • High-level scientific profile (E.G. Medical Doctor, MPharm or equivalent degree)
  • Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs or Clinical Development experience
  • Ability to collaborate within a matrix organisation
  • Effective communication skills including mastery of English and at least one Nordic languages
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex scientific and clinical data in 1:1 and group settings
  • Ability to plan own work, meet deadlines and work with a can-do problem-solving attitude 
  • Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare area
  • Willingness to travel, both nationally (Nordics) and internationally (Europe)
