We are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer who will be a significant contributor to managing and driving the work of the Central Governance Execution team with a proven compliance, risk, and/or governance background.

The Governance Execution team forms part of the broader Central Compliance and Reporting department within Group Compliance and is based across locations in Copenhagen (Postbyen), Vilnius, and Stockholm.

The mission of the Governance Execution team is to support the development and implementation of Group Compliance’s governance and risk management arrangements.

The role covers a broad range of compliance and governance topics, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Compliance Observations framework; interfacing with the Risk Management function to align Group Compliance’s risk management practices and processes; and supporting the design and implementation of internal operational processes to meet regulatory and policy requirements. This position provides an opportunity to learn and apply your expertise across a broad range of compliance risks and governance areas.

You will:

Provide advice, oversight, and periodically test the implementation of the Compliance Observation Framework to detect opportunities for further enhancement Drive the design and implementation of internal operational processes to meet Compliance governance requirements by organising workshops, preparing the relevant material, and developing internal business procedures Be the single point of contact for coordination and execution of cross-departmental projects (., Group Compliance function audit, Risk Control Self-Assessment, performance assessment of the Group Compliance function against internal and external requirements) Coordinate Group Compliance’s review and input on relevant policies and instructions from other second-line and specialist first-line functions Supervise, develop, and maintain the KPI process to assess Senior Management performance in handling applicable compliance risks

About you:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in either Compliance, Governance, Risk Management, or Business Controls Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels Advanced skills in spoken and written English A balance of execution and an analytical mindset Motivated person to make a difference and who can balance complex tasks in a structured, agile, and independent way Solid experience in project management Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MS Teams, and Outlook Understanding of the Financial Services sector and associated regulations is desirable

This position can be located both in Lithuania and Denmark. If the position is located in Lithuania, the salary range will be from 3360 to 5040 EUR monthly (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
