As our Manufacturing Data Analyst, you are responsible for collecting, analyzing, and developing our production data to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
You will develop the systems to enable the organization see performance metrics, create reports, identify process improvements, and work with cross-functional teams to achieve the improvements. The Manufacturing Data Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing production data from machines across our worldwide facilities.
This role ensures accuracy and consistency in data reporting, identifying trends and inefficiencies to optimize production processes. You will collaborate with international teams to implement data-driven improvements and maintain data integrity. Strong analytical skills and experience with data collection systems are required.
This position offers the opportunity to impact global manufacturing operations significantly. Travel may be required to understand local processes and enhance data collection methods.
The team you will be part of
At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join the Global Industrialization team within Global Manufacturing, which is overall responsible for all disciplines within our operations organization and report to Manager of Manufacturing test Ballerup, Morten Wille
You will be part of an autonomous, creative, collaborative and inclusive team of engineers, located in Denmark and at our local offices in China. You will work in an international and hybrid work environment with colleagues with multiple nationalities. Together, we support the GN vision of being the leader in intelligent audio & video solutions.
Your contribution is appreciated, and in addition to the above you will:
Collect relevant data points in a uniform way across the organization.
Automate data processes and stay updated with the latest analytical technologies.
Enable the team to track metrics such as production efficiency, downtime, defect rates, and cycle times.
Work with engineering and production teams to implement changes that enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Utilizing predictive analytics to forecast future production outcomes and identify potential issues before they arise.
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you are:
A strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Possessing a good understanding of manufacturing processes and standards.
Knowledgeable of the basics of data usage and production flows.
Able to communicate fluently in English in speech and in writing.
If you have experience within these areas, it will be advantageous, but they are not prerequisites for the position:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Skilled in either C#, LabVIEW or Python programming.
Certifications in data analysis or Six Sigma.
Experience and knowledge of Virinco’s WATS system is a benefit
