About the role
On behalf of one of our clients, Academic Work is currently looking for a commercial and technically experienced Head of Sales, whose primary task will be to help with scaling the company and increasing market share internationally. You will be part of an ambitious and energetic team where you will have the opportunity to shape your own everyday life and further develop both professional and personal skills. Our client is in the midst of an international market expansion of their digital software platform, so you will have the chance to work with cutting-edge technology.
To spearhead their further growth, they are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic person, who will build the brand in the European market, and who is willing to work hands-on with their sales processes, such as joining sales meetings and opening accounts. Our client is also looking for a person who is a natural talent within sales, customer relations, and management and has documented results in complex solution sales. You will refer directly to the CEO in Denmark, and you will also have a wide range of contacts within the organization.

Work tasks
- Managing and the overall responsibility of all commercial teams in all countries as well as making sure that targets are met
- Actively engage in sales processes and secure major accounts, while inspiring your team to aim for high performance.
- Defining and implementing scalable processes and systems in the company
- Optimize our client operating & business model to ensure high quality and efficiency
- Execute the vision and help set the direction for the company
We are looking for
- Someone with +3 years of experience from a similar role e.g. CCO or Head of Sales
- Someone with experience from working in high growth companies and knows how to scale a business
- Someone with a doer mindset that can drive projects forward to deliver excellent results
- Someone with a leader DNA, who leads by example and motivates and creates the right structure for people in the organisation
- Someone with excellent communication skills and is able to develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Someone who can speak and write English at a high level
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience from a software/tech company
- Experience from a start-up/scale-up company
- Can speak and write Danish at a high level
