What does the work consist of?

We are looking for a Head of Demand Generation to lead and scale our account-based marketing (ABM) strategy, performance marketing, and growth initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in building predictable and scalable demand, working closely with Sales, Product, and Data teams to drive measurable growth.

Your responsibilities will be

  • Own and execute the demand generation strategy across multiple channels (paid media, SEO, email, content marketing, social, events, partnerships, and outbound marketing).
  • Optimize and scale our account-based marketing (ABM) efforts, driving personalized engagement with our highest-value accounts.
  • Develop and manage multi-channel campaigns that drive pipeline growth and optimize conversion rates.
  • Track, analyze, and report ROI on all marketing spend, ensuring a clear connection between marketing activities and revenue growth.
  • Continuously experiment and refine marketing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and RevOps to align marketing strategies with revenue goals and ensure high-quality lead generation.
  • Leverage marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo) to create scalable, high-impact campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging demand generation tactics to keep GetWhy at the forefront of innovation.

What qualifications do you need?

We're looking for a growth hacker who thrives in data-driven marketing and has experience owning the demand generation function in a fast-scaling B2B company.

  • Have 5+ years of experience in demand generation, performance marketing, or growth marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS or insights-driven company.
  • Have a proven track record of driving high-quality pipeline growth and scaling marketing programs with a focus on ROI.
  • Be highly skilled in account-based marketing (ABM) and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Have experience with paid acquisition channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn, programmatic, etc.) and a strong understanding of SEO, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Enjoy working with data, analytics, and reporting, using insights to optimize and drive continuous improvement.
  • Be a hands-on problem solver, able to both think strategically and execute efficiently.
  • Be collaborative and agile, thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Be professionally proficient in English.
  • Live in or in proximity to Copenhagen.
