Job Description

As an Account Manager for Patient Monitoring, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and expanding Philips' presence in the Eastern part (Copenhagen and Zealand) of Denmark's healthcare market.

You are responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Managing, developing and maintaining high relationships with customers
  • Anticipating customer objections/needs by having full knowledge of the customers' business objectives and our corporate story.
  • Understanding customer requirements and providing solutions in a consultancy way while meeting their needs.
  • Ensuring high customer satisfaction including appropriate involvement with equipment turnover, contract renewal and status.
  • Assessing the customers' business model, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses and identifying issues.
  • Knowing the customers' vision, values, roadmap, business plan and budget for their entire facility and their service needs.
  • Presenting solutions to problems to key stakeholders within customer's organization that may not yet be recognized and builds consensus.
  • Providing a detailed analysis of all Philips opportunities for each customer account.
  • Creating solutions meeting customer requirements involving the entire Philips team.
  • Developing and owning strategies for customers within an assigned territory that will achieve business growth targets.
  • Negotiating solutions and closing deals by reaching agreements with mutual satisfaction to Customers and Philips and emphasizing the total value of the Philips story.
  • Maintaining constant communication with all internal and external parties during the progression of the deal. Prepares for several negotiation scenarios. Obtains clean orders at the best possible price.

You are a part of:

A dynamic team who are working in the Danish market. The role is a crucial part of our team and gives the opportunity to have many customer interactions in different shapes.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following:

  • Degree level with a Nursing background or equivalent is preferable
  • Preferable a Salesperson with a proven track record in the Healthcare environment
  • You need to have experience within the patient monitoring
  • You need to be able to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills to be able to work with our Danish customers.
  • Willingness to travel across Denmark as part of the role.

The position will report to Sales Leader, HPM Denmark.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

This role is a field role.
