We specialise in the Construction and Mechanical & Electrical sectors. We service the recruitment needs of the majority of the Top 50 Construction and Mechanical and Electrical companies in Ireland.
With an increasing number of our Irish clients working on large Pharmaceutical and Data Centre projects in Denmark we are now looking to hire an Account Manager on the ground in Denmark to support our Denmark Country Manager in growing our Danish business.
The role, which reports directly to the Danish Country Manager, is Denmark based and is a combination of operational tasks and account management to support our clients' projects on the ground in Denmark. As the majority of our site workforce in Denmark are Polish the role requires a Polish speaker (who also has good English).
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Liaise with and support our site workforce in Denmark as regards all logistical matters including accommodation, liaising with the workers around employment contracts, getting our workers set up on Danish payroll, organising their travel to site, answering any queries they have and helping them to settle into Denmark.
- Organising any training and inductions required for our site workers to enable them to work on Danish sites and meet all local compliance and health and safety requirements.
- Source and manage accommodation on the ground in Denmark for our site workforce who will be working on our clients' construction sites. This includes all logistics around managing the accommodation such as organising cleaning/utilities/consumables/repairs, dealing with landlords etc.
- All administration duties around managing the weekly and monthly cycle – including order processing, receiving timesheets from clients, liaising with our payroll team as regards approval of hours worked etc.
- Work closely with our sourcing recruitment teams (in Ireland and Poland) to update them on orders received and to respond to clients with updates as appropriate, to ensure an excellent service is provided by Ward Personnel to our Danish based clients.
- Help build the Ward Personnel brand in Denmark by expanding our client base through, service delivery, supporting the Country Manager, working with the Digital marketing team, and networking with both clients and candidates.
- Building and maintaining outstanding relationships with our clients and candidates to ensure that Ward Personnel is their recruiter of choice for construction workers in Denmark.
The successful candidate will:
- Have at least 2 years Operations and/or Account Manager experience – ideally in recruitment or in the construction sector.
- Be a fluent Polish speaker with a good working knowledge of English also.
- Be a dynamic and ambitious individual with an outgoing personality and excellent people skills.
- Be Degree qualified preferably though this is not essential.
- Preferably have some construction industry experience/knowledge though this is not essential.
- Be IT proficient and have very strong attention to detail.
- Be a hard worker, results focused, problem solver, and a team player.
- Have a valid driving license.
