In the role, you will be involved in various reporting-related tasks and collaborate with market risk analysts in selected portfolio areas – both on our Gas, Power and Climate Market business.
Concretely, your responsibilities include:
- Manage monthly reporting processes and execution.
- Engage in different reporting-related tasks across the business.
- Automate processes and data flows to drive value.
- Develop monitoring and reporting tools in cooperation with colleagues.
You will join our Risk Control team, which is a central part of Danske Commodities’ Risk unit. We not only report on our market risk exposure but also safeguard the company from undesirable exposures and partner with the trading teams to create value. We are a team of motivated and skilled risk analysts who always support and challenge each other to make sure we stay on top of the game.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with highly skilled experts in the energy sector, and you will be granted significant responsibility in tackling complex tasks.

As you will be working with data and reporting, we imagine that you are detail-oriented and have a data-driven and structured approach to problem-solving. As you will be in touch with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation, we picture you as both innovative and outgoing.
We also imagine that you:
- Are studying something related to Finance, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Intelligence or similar.
- Enjoy working with data and have an interest in finance.
- Are curious about programming and databases and have experience with Python or SQL – or are keen to learn.
- Are fluent in English – both written and verbal.
Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
