International Sales Manager for AJ Vaccines

The primary responsibility of this role is to cultivate customer relationships with direct clients and drive sales via distributors with the ability to manage multiple sales channels in the markets they operate. You should work to improve our products' position in our markets and improve the lives of people worldwide. This includes providing support, training, motivation, and development to distributors and their sales teams, ensuring alignment with strategic growth and revenue objectives.

Team responsibilities and ambitions

As a member of our global sales team, you will work in a collaborative and flat organizational structure. Based in Copenhagen, you will operate independently, with ample opportunities for knowledge sharing and collaboration with your colleagues. Together with the team, you will be responsible for devising strategies to enhance distributor sales, identifying and leveraging market opportunities, and collaborating with our medical and regulatory teams.

Your work tasks

As an International Sales Manager, you will act as the liaison between our customers and the organization, performing a variety of essential functions.

You will be:

  1. Driving and growing the markets under your responsibility, with a strong focus on increasing both volume and gross margin. This demands a focus on achieving ambitious targets, a passion for scaling the business, and a commitment to delivering not just growth, but profitable results.
  2. Establishing sales volume and market share KPIs for existing products with distributors.
  3. Continuously evaluating distributors and ensuring the selection of the most suitable partner(s) for each market.
  4. Collaborating with local distributors to develop strategic sales plans, including monitoring and augmenting product sales in tandem with local distributor sales management.
  5. Overseeing and maintaining distributor pricing platforms/tools, while optimizing pricing and profitability.
  6. Ensuring an optimal distributor contract framework and ongoing renegotiation of existing contracts.
  7. Aligning distributor forecasts with production planning for maximum efficiency.
  8. Translating distributor forecasts into actionable orders.
  9. Developing tactical concepts to streamline the sales process, enhancing sales techniques, tools, and resources.
  10. Preparing and monitoring the annual sales strategy plan.

Who are you?

You have a solid background in international sales, preferably from the Pharma or life science industry, and are used to working with distributors and customers internationally. You are ambitious and motivated by setting and reaching ambitious targets for your markets and customers.

Your educational background could be an undergraduate or graduate degree in economics, marketing, pharma/medicine, business administration, or a related field, ideally combined with experience in the Life Science industry. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Proficiency in additional languages such as Serbo-Croatian, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Arabic is considered a plus.

We furthermore expect you to have:

  1. Experience with budgeting and pricing.
  2. Expertise in preparing plans, negotiating, and presenting views and suggestions constructively.
