The Online Marketing team is the driving force for generating revenue and fuelling growth at SOUNDBOKS. We do this by coming up with, and executing, strategies that balance between generating- and capturing demand. We focus on building brand awareness to reach new audiences, encouraging engagement to drive demand, and fine-tuning campaigns to turn curiosity into action. All of this is done while also supporting cross-channel efforts, ensuring strong alignment with retail initiatives, and working together to maximise opportunities across markets.
As the Online Marketing Director at SOUNDBOKS, you'll lead and oversee all online marketing initiatives to boost brand awareness, engage customers, and drive revenue growth. Your focus will be on creating harmonised strategies across all digital channels, ensuring campaigns are data-driven, customer-focused, and aligned with overall business objectives. You will also be responsible for executing and bringing those strategies to life together with the Online Marketing team.
Okay, let’s make things a little more concrete. Here’s what we expect your daily life to look like:
Strategic Online Marketing ManagementForm, implement, and refine the online marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and growth targets.
Shape and manage the online marketing budget and spend, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise ROI across channels.
Regularly assess campaign results and optimise based on the data to drive efficiency.
Own the hands-on execution of:
Paid Search – Develop and manage ad strategies for platforms like Google Ads and Bing.
Amazon Advertising – Manage Amazon ad campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Brands, and Display Ads, to boost sales and visibility.
Affiliate Marketing – Manage the affiliate program to expand reach and drive revenue.
Guide the team of specialists, providing strategic input on:
Paid Social – Oversee strategy for paid campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok.
Organic Social – Oversee content strategy and publishing for organic channels.
Email – Oversee strategy for email marketing campaigns to maximise performance and conversions.
Use analytics tools (eg. Mixpanel) to track all online marketing efforts.
Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time insights into KPIs across channels.
Present campaign performance and insights to commercial leadership.
Watch for what works in ads, landing pages, and emails, and use data to decide what to keep or drop.
Continuously refine audience segmentation, targeting strategies, and budget allocation.
Manage a team of marketing specialists and external agencies, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Collaborate with Creative, Brand, and Product teams to align marketing initiatives with overall marketing strategy.

You’ve got proven track record managing multi-million dollar international cross-channel marketing budgets, boosting ROI, and adapting across strategies to hit financial targets across all channels.
You’ve actively worked on building and activating marketing strategies and efforts with particular focus on the US and German markets.
You’ve led teams before, and what really drives you is seeing people grow, thrive, and do their best work.
You’re well versed in online marketing channels - Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Paid Social, Organic Social, and Email.
You’re organised and detail-oriented, making sure campaigns run smoothly while keeping track of progress through business goals, marketing objectives, and KPIs.
You're comfortable with ambiguity and can quickly pivot or adjust strategies as things change, while balancing multiple high-priority projects and maintaining quality.
You’re working with both internal teams and external agencies, and leading a team of online marketers across paid and content.
You carry a creative mindset and are able to generate new ideas and innovative solutions that drive marketing success.
Ideally, you’ve got experience with attribution models and analysing customer journeys to inform channel strategy.
You may already have experience with influencer marketing strategies, including identifying and collaborating with influencers, negotiating contracts, and managing campaigns to boost brand reach.
