About The Role

As the Ecommerce Manager at WALLHACK , you will be fully accountable for revenue growth on our Shopify-based ecommerce site (wallhack.com) across multiple markets, with an emphasis on the US, Japan, and EU countries. This is a hands-on position where you will manage the end-to-end operation of our Shopify store, focusing on driving conversions and revenue. You will blend creative thinking and analytical skills to plan and execute site merchandising, promotions, and special offers that resonate with our consumers. Collaborating closely with product, creative, and operations teams, you will ensure that the site's performance consistently meets or exceeds our commercial objectives.

You are responsible for managing ecommerce site performance, delivering on sales forecasts and KPIs, and proactively identifying interventions to optimize results. Advanced Shopify knowledge is essential to scope and drive revenue-generating activations; you must be adept at theme customization, app integrations, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting within the Shopify ecosystem.

In addition, you will proactively communicate, collaborate, and request resources from multiple stakeholders both inside and outside of WALLHACK. Leveraging automation and AI in your workflows will be key to optimizing efficiency and output.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute initiative roadmaps to drive growth and maximize sales on our Shopify site.
  • In collaboration with the CMO, align ecommerce initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Identify new onsite opportunities, leveraging Shopify features and apps, to improve customer experience and increase conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop the right brand experience and share best practices.

Ecommerce website management
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Shopify store, ensuring optimal functionality, performance, and user experience.
  • Regularly update the Shopify site with promotional details, product information, and other relevant content, ensuring seamless merchandising.
  • Conduct A/B tests for content placement, merchandising, and other performance-related optimizations within Shopify.
  • Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and fine-tune the Shopify store's UX/UI.
  • Implement SEO best practices on Shopify to optimize product visibility and search rankings, leveraging keywords, metadata, and other SEO tactics to drive organic traffic and improve site performance.

Promotions, upselling, and campaign management
  • Plan and execute paid campaigns, seasonal promotions, and product launches, collaborating with creative teams and external consultancies.
  • Partner with our agency on CRM efforts, focusing on upselling and enhancing the customer experience through A/B testing of segments, campaigns, flows, messaging, and creative.

Reporting and analysis
  • Generate regular reports on ecommerce performance, including sales trends, conversion rates, and customer behavior (e.g., journey mapping).
  • Analyze data to identify insights, trends, and opportunities for further optimization.
  • Proactively provide actionable recommendations to enhance ecommerce performance and achieve business goals, implementing those recommendations in real-time within Shopify and related tools.

Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Mandatory, extensive experience managing and optimizing Shopify stores, including theme customization, app integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP) with strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Ability to monitor and analyze website KPIs, conduct A/B testing, and implement optimization strategies to improve performance and conversions within the Shopify environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior, UX best practices, and digital merchandising to enhance site experience and drive sales.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally with creative, product, and operations teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, email marketing platforms, and automation solutions to support campaign execution and customer engagement.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices, web analytics, and performance tracking tools such as Google Analytics (including GA4).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
