To support this mission, we are looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to join our Pharma Law team.
In our Pharma Law Department, we share a “challenge accepted” mindset and are guided by our winning behaviours of simplification, collaboration, and accountability, to achieve our goals.
In this position, you will act as a trusted advisor to the Commercial organization.
Your roleYou will act as the global legal lead for designated asset/product/medical teams and ensure that efficient, highly qualified, and business-oriented legal advice is provided to all stakeholders:
- Review and provide risk-intelligent advice on promotional and non-promotional materials and activities;
- Advise on commercial strategies and tactics;
- Negotiate and draft agreements;
- Dispute handling and resolution; provide advice on how to handle any actual or potential disputes;
- Manage and coordinate relations with external lawyers including follow-up on budgets;
- Conduct training for non-legal colleagues;
- Develop, draft, and maintain guidance, policies, and contract templates within the area of responsibility.
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
- Master of Laws; preferably admitted to the bar (possibly surrendered) or Master of Science in Business Administration and Commercial Law;
- Strong professional legal skills; solid understanding of marketing and healthcare compliance within the pharma industry;
- Experience from a top-tier private law firm and/or pharmaceutical industry or other R&D heavy industry/sector; +3 years;
- Solid negotiation and drafting skills; proven ability to work in a multicultural work setting;
- Strong commercial understanding.
