The Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll focus on building and expanding a portfolio of large clients in a targeted industry, implementing strategic plans to acquire new business. The Senior Account Executive reports to the Manager, Industry Sales.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead a solution and value-based sales process from prospecting to closing the deals of enterprise accounts (2000+ employees) of the Kahoot at Work suite (Kahoot 360 , Actimo and Motimate ).
  2. Build net new business, and expand existing accounts through up-sell and cross-sell.
  3. Build and execute strategic plans for supporting world’s leading companies across a specific industry.
  4. Drive initiatives to build and maintain a strong pipeline that creates revenue quarter over quarter.
  5. Effectively manage and communicate with C-level stakeholders to identify & align with client’s business goals and objectives to drive high value solutions and results.
  6. Be the subject matter expert in presenting the value and drive the sales process across Kahoot at Work suite.
  7. Work closely together with our Customer Success team, Pre-sales team, and rest of the commercial teams to ensure high value business outcomes for the customers.
  8. Utilise HubSpot (CRM) to manage and record all account activity, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date quotations, account activities, opportunities, and leads.

Who we are looking for

  1. 3+ years of experience (5+ years experience for Senior AE level) in solution and value-based new sales within the SaaS industry, involving sales to large and enterprise-level clients.
  2. Proven track record and motivation for building new business and managing the deal cycle from prospecting to closing.
  3. Strong business acumen and ability to be both strategic and hands-on with your accounts.
  4. Excellent negotiation skills - ability to engage the customer in a strategic dialogue, aiming to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
  5. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, fostering trust and maintaining positive, long-term partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  6. You relate to our Sales Mantras: Professionalism, Pro-Activity, Sense of urgency, Trust, Accountability, Collaboration and Prioritization.
  7. Ambitious, self-driven, and adaptable, with a growth mindset—able to evolve, thrive in the face of challenges, and excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  8. Fluent in English (verbal and written), other languages are a plus.
  9. Having experience in working and selling to any of these industries is a plus; Tech, Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications (TMT), Retail, Hospitality, and Construction.
