About the Role

Danfoss GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Hardware Architect to join its Commercial Compressor electronics department. This is a challenging opportunity to drive innovation in power electronics and contribute to the development of next-generation products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing power architecture and selecting suitable power technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and optimizing cost and value engineering in hardware design.

  • Develop and implement power electronics solutions that meet strict performance and reliability requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive system-level design and optimization for power electronics and control applications.
  • Interface with firmware and hardware components to ensure seamless integration.
  • Manage and evaluate vendors for hardware components and services.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for hardware design teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in power electronics engineering, preferably in a senior role.
  • Good knowledge of industry certifications, such as EMC/EMI, LVD, RoHS, RED, FCC, and UL.
  • Proficiency in requirements management and architectural design tools.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English; Danish is considered an asset.
