Hardware Architect Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Architect to join our dedicated engineering team at Danfoss Climate Solutions. As a key member of our Commercial Compressor electronics department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative hardware solutions that drive energy efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement hardware architecture solutions and concepts to ensure coherence in technical decisions.
  • Drive system-level design and optimization for power electronics and control applications.
  • Interface design between firmware and hardware components.
  • Select and integrate microcontrollers/microprocessors.
  • Create and maintain design documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for power and control electronics.
  • Optimize cost and value engineering in hardware design.
  • Manage and evaluate vendors for hardware components and services.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for hardware design teams.
  • Troubleshoot and solve hardware-related issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hardware architecture design, including power, analog, and digital systems.
