About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Whistleblower Software. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial processes and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial data.


Key Responsibilities



  • Own the month-end closing and reporting process to ensure timely and accurate financial statements
  • Work with external finance consultants to improve and optimize our bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll processes
  • Manage our billing and collections process to improve our cash collection cycle
  • Consistently automate manual day-to-day finance tasks to increase efficiency and reduce errors
  • Liaise with auditors and third-party advisors to deliver tax returns, global tax compliance, and annual reports
  • Run special projects such as opening local subsidiaries and automating processes

Requirements and Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in billing, payments, and accounts receivables management, preferably with experience in bookkeeping/accounting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve customer issues in a timely manner
  • Familiarity with tools similar to our tech stack (E-conomics, HubSpot, ChargeBee) is a plus
  • Growth mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong curiosity with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • 15 minutes online interview with our Talent Acquisition team
  • 30 minutes online interview with our hiring manager, Head of Finance
  • Case preparation for last interview (Expected 2 hours prep)
  • 60 minutes in-person final interview with Head of Finance and our FP&A Manager
