Volatile Marine Interactions Research Scientist

Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to contribute to our research efforts in marine volatile interactions. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be responsible for investigating fluxes of volatiles associated with marine bacterioplankton and phytoplankton, focusing particularly on the importance of bacterioplankton and phytoplankton interactions for VOC production/emission.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute experiments to investigate fluxes of volatiles
- Analyze data using molecular community analyses (bioinformatics), aquatic microbial ecology, and VOC measurements
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new research projects
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
