To succeed in this role, you need strong foundational product management skills, including product strategy, development, launch, and lifecycle management. Experience in building complex enterprise software products, ideally within the defense industry, and transforming civil applications into defense solutions is advantageous.

You should possess excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and financial skills to make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with AI, connectivity, and cybersecurity is beneficial.

Here are some of the qualifications we're looking for:

  • Foundational Product Management Skills: End-to-end product lifecycle management, including defining services around products and building product roadmaps.
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with defense technologies and systems, lifecycle management, and obsolescence procedures.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience in adapting to changing requirements and rapid prototyping, transitioning markets to scalable products.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding program budgets, cost analysis, ROI, and building business cases.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to collaborate across stakeholders and convey customer needs.
  • Leadership and Negotiation: Leading cross-functional teams and negotiating with contractors and government agencies.
