Role Overview

The Senior Finance Controller will play a key role in ensuring the success of our greenfield project in Odense, Denmark. This position is based in the Cost Controlling team within the PMO department and reports directly to the Head of Finance.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to join our team and contribute to driving business growth and profitability through effective financial management.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving budget processes and monthly follow-ups
  • Supporting the monthly closing process and ensuring high-quality accounting practices
  • Providing accurate and timely reporting on project performance, including cost analysis and monthly reporting to management and the steering group
  • Collaborating closely with project cost controllers and being responsible for monthly controlling documentation
  • Driving optimizations and streamlining processes within cost controlling
  • Collaborating closely with the other Project Control disciplines to ensure effective project management and control

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in finance, preferably with a master's degree or bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or similar.

Additionally, you should have 3-5 years of experience in cost controlling and working with financial analysis.

You should possess in-depth knowledge of cost control principles, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as previous experience with large-scale projects.

We are looking for someone who has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

You should be able to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

At Novo Nordisk A/S, we offer a competitive salary of approximately DKK 800,000 - DKK 1,200,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
