Overview

Spearhead PepsiCo's commercial strategy across targeted Northern Europe Franchise markets, holding complete Profit and Loss accountability. This position is crucial for enhancing volume, market share, and overall net revenue/profit for all PepsiCo Beverage brands by fostering the partnership between PepsiCo and a significant strategic ally. Achieving success will depend on robust bottler partnerships, commercial insight, and talent cultivation, while utilizing the extensive PepsiCo network across diverse teams and regions.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Coordination:

Formulate and synchronize the sales strategy with a distinguished Global Anchor Bottler known for its excellence. Supervise bottling operations across six markets, including Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, with future growth into additional regions.

Leadership Development:

Direct a team comprising 2 Commercial Managers, 2 Commercial Activation Managers, and 1 Student Intern. Offer mentorship and development opportunities to ensure the team's effectiveness in executing commercial initiatives.

Bottler Engagement:

Act as the main liaison for Sales and Marketing Directors/VPs at the bottling partner, concentrating on sales implementation and channel growth.

Commercial Projects:

Lead Below The Line projects in collaboration with bottlers, focusing on Sales, Shopper/Trade Marketing, Net Revenue Management, and Field Sales.

Channel Development:

Propel the growth of single-serve product offerings by boosting presence in Away From Home channels and enhancing availability in Convenience and Petrol & Gas stations.

Revenue Optimization:

Enhance system margins through ongoing Net Revenue Management and refined product mix strategies.

Strategic Planning & Forecasting:

Oversee the Annual Commercial Planning process with bottlers and create 3-Year Joint Plans to secure long-term success.

Best Practices & Global Collaboration:

Partner with International Beverage and Sector matrix teams to apply channel best practices. Represent PepsiCo in Global Sales Forums and lead engagements with Global and European commercial teams.

Key Account Oversight:

Manage significant Global Food Service Accounts in collaboration with bottlers to stimulate growth in these vital channels. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Profit & Loss oversight, customer negotiations, and navigating complex business environments. Strong proficiency in sales fundamentals, complemented by analytical and financial expertise. Comprehensive understanding of consumer/shopper insights and tools for crafting effective packaging, pricing, and promotional strategies. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for converting complex data into actionable insights. Outstanding relationship-building and influencing capabilities, with a proven track record of achieving alignment across diverse teams. Experience in leading large-scale transformation initiatives and driving product innovation. Capacity to operate effectively in a matrix environment across various time zones, fostering strong virtual relationships. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop direct reports, cross-functional colleagues, and external partners.
