Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Medicine (reNEW) at the University of Copenhagen. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Joshua Brickman and will be part of an international interdisciplinary team of scientists.

Responsibilities
  1. To investigate the role of enhancer regulation in early human development, focusing on human hypoblast and stem cell-based embryo models.
  2. To develop new approaches to in vitro culture for human organ differentiation.
  3. To collect and analyze NGS data and multiomics on synthetic embryo/organ systems.
  4. To generate improved human blastoids or enhanced organoid cultures for liver and pancreas differentiation.
  5. To analyze NGS data and develop new pipelines for bioinformatic analysis.
Requirements
  • PhD degree in Developmental, Stem Cell, Molecular Biology or Bioinformatics.
  • Experience with cell culture, stem cell culture, and NGS technologies.
  • Skills in routine molecular biology, including cloning, Western blots, RT-qPCR.
  • English communication skills, both oral and written.
