Our division is dedicated to providing cutting-edge research in sustainable, reliable, and cost-efficient energy systems. We are looking for a talented postdoctoral researcher to join our team and help us achieve our goals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing dynamic models for energy systems, with a focus on converter-rich power plants. This will involve:

  • Modelling, control, and simulation of converter-interfaced renewable-energy resources
  • Stability assessment of converter-based power systems using frequency-domain criteria
  • Power system dynamics

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need excellent communication skills to present your results in oral presentations and prepare scientific papers for publication in international journals.

As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent) in the field of electrical engineering, control engineering, power electronics, or similar. We also require documented experience with programming languages and software tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Python, PSCAD, etc.
