Postdoctoral Researcher in Quantitative Animal Breeding and Genetics

Aarhus University's Center for Quantitative Genetics and Genomics is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing breeding plans and breeding goals for organic trout and organic dairy cattle.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative genetics and genomics, with experience in breeding program development and analysis. They will also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of researchers and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize breeding plans and breeding goals for organic trout and organic dairy cattle
- Analyze economic data and consumer studies to inform breeding decisions
- Collaborate with researchers and industry partners to develop and implement breeding programs
- Communicate research findings and results to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Quantitative Genetics or related field
- Strong background in breeding program development and analysis
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of researchers and industry partners
