About the Position

The Center for Quantitative Genetics and Genomics at Aarhus University is seeking a highly skilled researcher to fill a tenure track position as Assistant Professor in Plant Quantitative Genetics. Job Description

We are looking for a talented researcher with a strong background in plant breeding, quantitative genetics, or related fields. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of postdoctoral experience and a solid publication record in top-tier scientific journals. Experience in international research collaboration, network building, and attracting external funding is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct innovative research in plant quantitative genetics and genomics
  • Develop and lead research projects with international collaborations
  • Attract and manage external research funding
  • Tutor and supervise students at various academic levels (BSc, MSc, PhD)
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a PhD in a relevant field and have a strong track record of scientific achievement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, are essential.
