Role Overview

As our team in Denmark expands, we are seeking experienced Managing Consultants to strengthen our presence in this vital sector.

The ideal candidates will possess a robust background in financial services consulting, emphasizing commercial strategy, digital transformation, and business evolution. Successful candidates will lead account management and innovate propositions while nurturing team capabilities.

The Managing Consultant (MC) role is a prestigious position within PA Consulting, where MCs typically take on responsibilities for business development and team leadership. This role requires a balance of operational insight and strategic foresight, along with a strong business acumen. MCs are integral to our leadership team and play a crucial role in our sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with clients in the financial services sector to identify challenges, devise solutions, and oversee implementation.
  • Offer strategic guidance and insights to senior executives on various issues, including digital transformation, operational efficiency, and risk management.
  • Direct project teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with client objectives and generate measurable business outcomes.
  • Serve as the lead for strategic accounts.
  • Spearhead financial services sales initiatives at the MC level, particularly in areas such as commercial strategy, digital transformation, and business evolution.
  • Partner with colleagues across PA Consulting's global network to share best practices and expertise.

Our team operates primarily from Copenhagen, with a focus on client engagement. While travel may be necessary, we are committed to exploring flexible working arrangements with qualified candidates.

Qualifications

Candidates should have experience in Financial Services, including:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree in economics, engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in management consulting, specifically within the financial services industry.
  • Alternatively, candidates may have a combined advisory background with an internal managerial role at a significant client or corporate finance organization.
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering projects in strategy development, process enhancement, and technology implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to simplify complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the building of relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Documented sales experience.
  • Proficiency in Danish and English; additional language skills are advantageous.
