Global Account Manager for Strategic Partnerships at Toyota

A world-class professional is sought to manage customer relationships with a leading automotive company. The Global Account Manager will provide global business leadership and management of one or two business units in a large global account. Responsibilities include building and maintaining key relationships, developing and managing opportunities, monitoring deployment projects, and engaging virtual resources. The role requires defining a CXO relationship strategy within the account, including engaging with AWS senior leadership for executive sponsorships and coordinating executive business reviews. Team leadership and collaboration with internal stakeholders are also essential.

Key Responsibilities

The Global Account Manager is responsible for teaming with the customer's Business & IT Organizations to build strategic relationships across the account. This involves articulating a clear vision, generating enthusiasm, and impacting all business groups. The role requires selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. Collaboration with AWS resources, including Executives, Solution Architects, and Business Development teams, is crucial to support customer interests. Development of formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS is core to the role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor's degree in business or technology or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ year experience working with an automotive or manufacturing as a Global Account and Relationship Manager.
  • Demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • A BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 12+ years of enterprise selling experience in large global accounts.
  • Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record; ability to navigate across AWS and the customer in a trusted advisor/consultative approach; and, establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across the organizations.
  • A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) would be preferred but not required.
  • Automotive Industry Knowledge.
