Strategic Partnership Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnership Development Specialist to join our team at Folkekirkens Nødhjælp. As a key member of our Global Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Unit, you will play a crucial role in securing funding for our international programs.
Job DescriptionYour primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain relationships with institutional donors, ensuring that our programs and projects receive the necessary funding to support our mission. You will work closely with our country offices and technical units to identify opportunities, develop concepts, and coordinate proposal development processes.
You will also be responsible for coordinating project design and proposal writing processes, ensuring that all submissions meet donor requirements and guidelines. Additionally, you will provide advice and support to country office teams on contract negotiation, communication with donors, and compliance with donor regulations.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and colleagues. Your expertise in grant management, proposal development, and reporting will be essential in ensuring the success of our programs.
Requirements- Proven experience in developing partnerships with institutional donors, including proposal development, donor liaison, and grants management.
- Strong background in quality assurance and reporting of international projects, preferably from nexus and/or humanitarian settings.
- Relevant higher education and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to travel up to 60 days per year to assist country offices and partners in proposal development.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with proficiency in French an asset.
