Strategic Account Manager

Ferring Pharmaceuticals A/S is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager - Gastroenterology to join our team in Denmark.
About the Role
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining solid relationships with key doctors, hospitals, and opinion leaders in Denmark.
- Your role will involve developing and implementing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth, and identify new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Represent Ferring at clinics and hospitals, sharing knowledge about Pentasa, which is used to treat Crohn's and other bowel diseases.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance analyses for key accounts.
- Plan daily activities and next week's planning, ensuring alignment with team goals.
- Manage the budget assigned to your activities, presenting expense reports, and ensuring return on investment.
- Propose activities and projects, such as setting up Ferring Academy days for Danish customers.
Requirements
- Extensive sales experience from an equivalent field, giving you a good understanding of terminology and communication style of doctors and key opinion leaders within the medical field.
- A background in science, biology, medicine, or pharmacy.
- Knowledge of the Danish market and a good understanding of Danish regulations.
- Strong communication skills in Danish and English.
- Some experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
