As a PhD researcher in single-cell proteomics, you will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment focused on developing novel sample preparation techniques for conducting high-throughput mass spectrometry experiments./ppbAbout the Project/b/ppThe PhD project is part of our department's major long-term strategy to combine experimental and computational approaches to establish single-cell proteomics as a routine tool for deciphering cell heterogeneity in complex biological systems. Your primary tasks will be to develop novel sample preparation methods, including enrichment of post-translational modifications, for conducting high-throughput single-cell proteomics experiments./ppbResponsibilities and Qualifications/b/pulliDevelop and optimize mass spectrometry data acquisition strategies for low-input proteomics and single-cell analysis./liliDesign and implement novel sample preparation workflows using low-volume liquid handling approaches and PTM-enrichment techniques./liliExplore novel chromatography approaches to enhance sensitivity for single-cell proteomics./li/ulpbRequirements/b/pulliMaster's degree in biochemistry, biomedicine, medicinal chemistry, molecular biology, immunology, or related subjects./liliAdvanced understanding of mass spectrometry-based proteomics workflows./liliTrack record in single-cell proteomics method development./liliHands-on experience with LC-MS and mammalian cell culture techniques./liliExperience with automated, low-volume liquid handling and cell sorting equipment./liliFundamental knowledge about FACS and other cell isolation/analysis techniques./liliSufficient level of computational/bioinformatics analysis of proteomics datasets with R and Python./li/ulpbWhat We Offer/b/ppAs a PhD researcher at DTU Bioengineering, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
