Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at the Department of Anthropology, University of Copenhagen. As an Academic Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research in cultural anthropology, with a focus on climate change adaptation and its impact on societies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in anthropology, sociology, or a related field, and excellent research skills. You will work closely with our faculty members to design and implement research projects, collect and analyze data, and disseminate your findings through publications and presentations.

This is a full-time position, and you will be expected to work independently and as part of a team. You will also have opportunities to collaborate with other researchers and departments across the university.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in cultural anthropology, with a focus on climate change adaptation and its impact on societies.
  • Design and implement research projects, collect and analyze data, and disseminate your findings through publications and presentations.
  • Work closely with faculty members to develop and implement research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and departments across the university.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in anthropology, sociology, or a related field.
  • Excellent research skills and experience in qualitative and/or quantitative methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of approximately DKK 45,000 - 60,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. You will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous parental leave policies.
