Our department is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic researcher with expertise in pain biology, single cell RNA sequencing, and in vivo imaging. The successful candidate will work on understanding the mechanisms of chronic pain and develop new treatments.

We are looking for a researcher who can conceptualize and design innovative research projects aligned with our focus areas. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in rodent pain models, in vivo imaging experiments, and strong knowledge of pain biology.

The place of employment is at the Department of Neuroscience, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. We offer a collaborative working environment and modern laboratories.

The position is a fixed-term position limited to a period of 2.5 years. The starting date is negotiable but preferably July 1, 2025.

The average weekly working hours are 37 hours per week. Salary and other conditions of employment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and AC or other relevant organizations.
