Job Title: IT Application Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Application Manager to join our team at Svendborg Brakes ApS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation, governance, and support of core applications for our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an application portfolio and associated projects to ensure effective analysis, planning, organization, and leadership.
  • Head the future change to a new ERP system, including scope, project management, and team leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for application optimization, redesign, or process improvement, focusing on collaboration systems and internal tools.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT management to provide a strategic vision for new and supported applications and create system roadmaps and business processes.
  • Address the various needs, concerns, and expectations of stakeholder groups in planning and executing projects, meeting project requirements, and creating project deliverables.
  • Balancing competing project constraints, including scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risks, to accommodate the needs of each user/customer.
  • Build a strong technical culture around our business systems, emphasizing technical excellence, rapid iteration, strong security, and frictionless user experiences.
  • Manage application maintenance outsourcing and software contract agreements, implementing and monitoring standards around scope management, economic management, service level agreements (SLA), ensuring compliance to mitigate risk, increase service/business impact, and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Application Management or a similar role.
  • Deep firsthand experience with application implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Experience managing ticketing, CRM, ERP systems (Axapta) is an advantage.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain system changes and functionality to all employees.
  • Experience setting up ongoing procedures for collection and review of project statuses and goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good people skills and a cheerful attitude.
  • Great overview and the ability to set actions into motion with respect for time schedules and specifications.
