Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified researcher to join our team at the Department of Ecoscience, Aarhus University. The successful candidate will be part of our marine group, focusing on research and advisory tasks related to Danish and Arctic waters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on marine food webs and cumulative effects from human and climate pressures
  • Develop and apply advanced statistical models to analyze large data sets
  • Collaborate with colleagues and international partners to advance our understanding of marine ecosystems
  • Engage with stakeholders and communicate research findings effectively
Requirements
  • PhD in marine biology, marine ecology, environmental sciences, engineering, or similar
  • Broad knowledge of marine physical, biogeochemical, and biological processes
  • Experience with advanced statistical modelling and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Very good knowledge of English (written and oral)
