Job DescriptionThis full-time postdoctoral appointment offers a unique opportunity to work on advancing quantum computing platforms towards scalable fault-tolerant quantum computing.
Responsibilities:- Fabricate, characterize, and analyze devices to improve qubit performance.
- Develop novel fabrication and characterization techniques to enhance material quality and chip design.
- Document and communicate research results through publications and presentations.
- Collaborate with researchers at MF and NQCP to advance quantum computing platforms.
- Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Experience with fabrication and characterization of quantum computing platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
The estimated annual salary for this position is around $65,000-$80,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The employment is based at the University of Copenhagen, with the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as the research host.
