Lead Accounts Payable Team

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to join our team at Ørsted Business Services in Kuala Lumpur. As a key member of our Finance and Controlling department, you will be responsible for leading a team of accounts payable professionals and ensuring the efficient processing of invoices and payments.
Key Responsibilities- Hiring, Training, and Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of accounts payable professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in our accounts payable processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of the accounts payable function, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement, and implementing changes accordingly.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to accounts payable, and implement controls to mitigate risks and prevent errors.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless processes and provide input and support for strategic initiatives.
- Experience: More than 5 years' experience in end-to-end accounts payable, with at least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Knowledge and Skills: Solid knowledge of accounts payable processes, accounting principles, and internal controls, as well as proficiency in SAP ERP.
- Leadership and Communication: Foster a positive work environment, motivate your team, and provide guidance and support when needed.
- Process Optimization: Seek opportunities for process optimization, cost savings, and better utilization of resources.
